In this process, we carve your image into a hardened die. Next we use a press with thousands of pounds of pressure to strike this image into an iron metal blank. We cut the metal blank to meet your design specifications and electroplate the piece with the finish you require. The following step is to apply soft enamel colours into the empty channels as dictated by your art. The spaces holding colour are not completely filled leaving raised borders and design elements above the colour. At this point the enamel is baked at 90ºC. Here, we have the option to finish the product, leaving the textured surface or apply a protective coating of epoxy that adds a lustrous almost liquid appearance and creates a smooth surface.

The main advantage of this process is that we can match the colors of your artwork or logo. Another advantage is in cost. Softer enamels are faster to fill, fire and finish. As well, iron blanks are less costly than copper or brass. Due to the cost savings, this is the preferred product for promotional products.
